The New England Patriots have agreed to a 2-year contract extension with Quarterback Tom Brady on Monday, according to Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini of ESPN.
While the 3-time Super Bowl MVP has two years left on his remaining deal, paying the 38-year-old $9 million in 2016 and $10 million in 2017. The contract extension will be added on to his remaining deal, making the Quarterback under New England and Bill Belichick’s control until 2019.
Tom Brady will be 42-years-old when his contract expires with the New England Patriots, raising the chances that the 4-time-Super Bowl-winning Quarterback ends his career where it started, In Foxboro Massachusetts.
